Heading to the Yupper.
Sarah, Dave, and Ely
Got a pretty early Sunday start at Gettysburg. Battlefield is such a wide ranging, confusing area. We are limited a bit as the dog can't enter certain buildings/areas, so we did the driving tour and walked a fair bit. Beautiful memorials are everywhere and the park has a very nice new welcome center (much like Mt. Rushmore), maybe a bit overdone. Well kept and sobering.
North Battlefield area, observation tower
Irish Brigade Memorial
Virginia Memorial (very large)
Looking down on Devils Den from Little Round Top
Had a reservation snafu (thanks ReserveAmerica) and didn't have a site for the first night in Cumberland Falls SP. Found an available temp site and all was well, except for the Girl Scouts. Survived about 25 Girl Scouts next door and their antics/singing. Beautiful state park, on same mountain as Camp David. Had a nice rocky/hill hike to the Falls:

For our final meal in the crescent city we enjoyed a muffaletta from the central grocery. Actually we bought a whole one and we could only eat half of it. Should be a great lunch on the road tomorrow.
Tomorrow we head to Memphis for a quick stopover at KOA (about half way home). Probably pick up some Neely's Interstate BBQ for dinner and hit the road early for home.
